So, I have a new Macbook Pro running Yosemite. I installed the Yamaha Steinberg USB driver but the control panel doesn't come up when I click on it. All I get is the "About" dialogue box. Tried updating the firmware in the 01V but the updater doesn't see it (of course, because the USB driver isn't working or installing correctly). The dropdown menus to choose the device are grayed out.
Anyone else have this happen or have any suggestions? I've wasted most of the day searching online and trying to reinstall things...
I'll ultimately use it with Dante but for now would like to use it with BoomRecorder, save settings, etc.....

Yes. I checked compatibility. What I installed is the Yamaha Steinberg USB driver. Maybe there's a conflict with something else in my system...

Yes. I've seen the compatibility list. The Yamaha Steinberg UsB should work with 10.10... and as far as I can tell it should be a simple inatall. It won't open a control panel.
