I need an auto mixer from time to time and would love a Dugan. The card is a great idea but at $2500+ it's not a go for me.

I need an auto mixer from time to time and would love a Dugan. The card is a great idea but at $2500+ it's not a go for me. I bought one and have been using it for a few months now. Previously I made regular use of the Shure SCM810. I must say it does "feel" like an expensive purchase, however if you consider that it is 16 channels, that you would have to buy 2 SCM810s to get the same number of channels for about the same price as the Dugan, and the Dugan card does a much better job! Of course you can find the 810s used at a very good price, but for me having it already "patched" and internal to the mixer, which smoother transitions, makes the Dugan card worth it to me. Tom
